Update - Saturday, 29th
Hello Everyone!
We originally sent out links to Caring Bridge, and had planned on posting the story there. However, since that site has been down all day, we are in the process of recreating the information into this Blogger.
For the time being, we wanted to provide an immediate update. Jim is currently scheduled for bypass surgery early Monday morning. He had a slight temperature today so they drew blood work to do some testing. The temperature has since decreased. Apparently this isn't uncommon.
They have been watching his troponin levels pretty closely. Thankfully that started to go back down today. Troponin levels are usually undetectable. Jim’s was 2000, signifying significant heart damage.
Overall, we still have good news in this dire situation. Thanks for the prayers!
The family would appreciate it if you left your name with your comment! Thank you!
Love and prayers from Ruth and Bill
