3rd Day After Surgery

Jim was moved out of ICU today, and currently only has a heart monitor hooked up, which is transmitting wirelessly. This has made it a lot easier to move around freely.  When he moved to his new room, he walked across the hall to get there. He has made several trips around in the hallway. He’s slow, but it’s positive progress. They gave him some lasix so that he could start getting rid of all the fluid they have been giving him. They are adjusting his blood pressure medicine, as it has been running a little high. He has been sitting in his chair all day, so he hasn't had the back pain. The nurse brought him coffee, he read the paper, and turned on the TV. Overall, he is doing great and will likely go home this weekend.
