More Improvement
Jim has made big improvements since surgery. About 2 1/2 weeks post surgery, his pain, mobility, energy, and appetite had a big positive shift. The doctors and nurses say that everything is doing/looking great. He's lost weight and muscle, but it's to be expected. Rebuilding lost muscle will be hard, but it will likely come with new energy and stamina that he'll have once he is fully healed.
His biggest complaint is (still) concerning his tailbone being sore. He is able to actually sleeping in bed for a few hours at a time. But we challenge anyone to sleep in bed without being able to roll over or move a lot. A body can only do that comfortably for so long before needing to move.
He is on the mend and healing wonderfully. We look forward to what the future holds for him. God was not ready to call him home yet.
