Jim has made it home after 10 days in the hospital!!! 🥳
His legs are still pretty swollen, but that is to be expected. Walking, elevating, and compression socks should help. He can walk around without assistance, so he feels more freedom and independence now. For the next few months, he is pretty restricted when it comes to weight bearing for his upper body and his range of motion. That can be hard to remember.

We're used to monitoring sugar and carbs in food, now we have to watch sodium and saturated fats also. Something new to learn and get used to.

Thank you for all the prayers along the way! 💖  Continue praying for a great recovery. God has blessed us during this journey in so many ways.

If you wish to visit, just contact a family member. We would be happy to see you!
