Surgery Done! - Monday, July 1st

It's surgery day. We will keep you as updated as we can by updating this post as we get information.

Updates

8:30 - Surgery has started
11:00 - The TV in the waiting room says they are closing.
11:30 - Just met with the doctor. He did 5 bypasses. He says Jim is doing okay, and it's a good thing he got here when he did.
4:00 - We just left the hospital. He is looking pretty good. The nurse and doctors are really happy with how he is doing. They would like to extubate him tonight. Tomorrow they may try to remove the balloon pump.

Needs:

  • God's guiding hand during surgery.
  • Peace and rest for the family.
  • Pray that there is no bleeding during the the first day or when the risk is greatest.

Praises:

  • That there have been so many blessings in a critical situation.
  • Alivia's Beautiful Blessings - made a delivery for Jim and Rita. Thank you so much for the card and basket of goodies! 💖 It's such a blessing to have people like Alivia in the community. Check her page out in the link. Maybe you know someone else who could use a blessing!

  5. Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for going into surgery to guide the surgeon’s hands. Thank you for giving Jim the additional strength he needed so that surgery could be successful.

Thank you for giving the family the strength they needed to be by their dad / husband side.

Thank you for placing the family at Fairview where people believe in the power of prayer. Your power has been seen and you are amazing in how you show your love to Jim and his family.

As you know dear Heavenly Father, there are still risk. Continue to bless Jim with your remarkable power of healing. After all you are the designer of all humans. You know all the secrets of what makes us tick.

Allow Jim and Rita to enjoy many years of life together. I know they will shout your praises of love and compassion you have shown them during this tough time.

Thank you for being a God that is never changing, ever loving, full of power and grace. Your words of truth can be counted on. Jeremiah 29:11. For I know the thoughts I have toward says the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end.

I know as believers when our time comes. You will welcome us home. And we will experience a new life that our words can never describe.

Out of love you care for us now and for eternity.

    In Jesus’s name

    Amen
    Joan
